Bruce Melvin is just one of the many examples of people that have been processed through Project Clean Slate. Melvin lost his license as a result of several life changing experiences. Driving the back streets under fear of being of pulled over by police was not a way of life that he wanted any more.

Melvin, like many others discovered that nearly every job that he wanted to apply for required that he needed a valid driver's license.

Thousands of dollars owed to the system, Melvin showed up at Project Clean Slate event in 2005 and stood in line with over 3,000 people on a sunny Saturday waiting to change his life.

Melvin worked off his overdue fines, successfully complete drug and alcohol rehabilitation classes and much more.
